Oregon Coast Stay!

Hi Friends,

I promise I’m almost done with all my vacation posts, but hey there’s a lot happening when you get a month off. We couldn’t stay away for a whole month, and I’m at the office as I write this, but it’s nice to be able to enjoy time off and just stop by the office to pay bills and check on things. Anyways, back to the vacation part though, our favorite part was the stay in Depoe Bay, OR. I kind of really want to go back to that AMAZING condo, like right now. And I’m 99.9% sure that we’ll be staying there again next year. And just in case you guys want proof of the condo’s amazingness, I’ve got some pictures.

A nice welcome by the front door.

Seriously, how cute is this place? I’m not trying to convince you to rent it out or anything, but in case you do want to the condos are called The Village at North Pointe and we stayed at Whalers Cove.

Our condo was also in the perfect spot for whale watching (what Depoe Bay is known for). We could see the whales straight from the condo, that’s how close they were.

You can sort of see the whale!

We loved staying in Depoe Bay, even though it’s very small it’s right in between 2 larger towns (Lincoln City and Newport) so it was a very short drive to any stores or beaches. We visited pretty much every beach in the area, we were there for the beach after all. Last year we stayed in Rockaway Beach and visited every town on Oregon Coast (from Newport to Astoria, so this year we were happy to just be in one place.

I'm like a kid in the candy store when it comes to pretty houses!

One of our favorite things to do is antiquing and we spent one day visiting all the shops and antique stores in Lincoln City. One of my favorite things about small towns is the anique stores.

We spent our last day in Tillamok, where we visited the famous cheese factory and had their Grilled cheese and tomato soup (it’s a yearly tradition). Then we spent a few hours on the beach, where we took a nice long nap in the sun.

We also went up to a nice viewpoint with a short hike to a beautiful lighthouse.

And that about sums up our Oregon Coast stay, hope you guys enjoyed the post.
